Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical environment. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and administrative support, particularly in an outpatient setting.

Duties

Perform patient examinations and procedures.
Prepare patients for their appointments by taking vital signs and medical histories.
Administer medications as directed by their treatment plans and ensure proper documentation.
Complete medical documentation and review of patient records.
Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the examination rooms and equipment.
Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Handle laboratory specimens and assist with minor surgical procedures as needed.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Physician Assistant or similar role in a clinical environment.
Strong understanding of medical terminology helpful
Experience working in an outpatient setting is desirable.
Ability to administer medications accurately and safely.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Proficiency in using medical systems for record keeping and appointment scheduling.
Compassionate approach towards patient care

Time

This is a flexible part-time on-site role for 1-2 days a week with growth to full-time possible. Currently seeking 10 - 20 hours per week. Flexible schedule with morning and evening hours. The position is divided into shifts of 8 hour blocks of 11 am to 7 pm, or Saturdays 9 - 3 pm.
