OrthoLA is seeking a dedicated surgical Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing team! The ideal candidate will play a vital role in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, working closely with our orthopedic physicians and healthcare team.

Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including history taking and physical examinations.

Assist in the diagnosis and management of a variety of conditions.

Collaborate with physician in developing and implementing treatment plans.

Perform diagnostic procedures, such as injections and other minimally invasive interventions.

Educate patients and families about their conditions, treatment options, and postoperative care.

Surgery assistance.

Monitor and manage postoperative patients, including assessing recovery and addressing complications.

Maintain accurate and timely medical records in accordance with clinic policies.

Participate in patient followups and coordinate care with other healthcare providers.

Stay updated on the latest advancements in orthopedic care and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Occasional call required.

Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patientcentered approach.

Ability to handle a fastpaced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited program.

Current PA license in LA and certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

Experience with surgery assistance is a plus, but not required.

Experience in orthopedic care is a plus, but not required.

Walking, sitting, bending, squatting, reaching.
