The Nurse Practitioner, under the supervision of the Physician, is responsible for assisting in the delivery of health care and patient care management, and a broad range of medical services, including taking medical histories, conducting physical exams, ordering diagnostic tests, administering treatments (e.g., suturing, casting and minor surgery), monitoring patients, prescribing meds, assisting physicians, and counseling/ educating patients. This position requires great attention to detail as quality patient care is of the utmost importance to our organization.
This person must be professional, have a strong work ethic, work well with others, and have compassion for our patients at all times.
Required Licenses and Certifications:
- Registered with Kentucky Board of Nursing as APRN - in good standing
- CPR certification required
Minimum Education:
- Graduate of an accredited APRN Program
Minimum Work Experience:
- Prior experience in clinical office preferred.
