The Physician Assistant is a licensed independent practitioner who is responsible for managing health problems and coordinating healthcare for children and adults in accordance with state and federal rules/regulations and nursing standards of care. Provides medical direction and treatment of patients with the scope of practice as determined by the credentialing process of Adams Memorial Hospital and under the auspices of his/her supervising physician. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: diagnosis, treatment, prescribing medication, ordering and interpreting diagnostic and therapeutic tests, referrals, patient education.
Eligible for medical coverage on your first day of employment, all other benefits will be effective the 1st of the month following hire date!
Requirements:
30 hours per week - First Shift
Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Physician Assistant License
CPR Certification
