Job Summary:

We seek a full-time, new, or experienced physician assistant to join our collaborative orthopedic team at LewisGale Medical Center in Salem, Virginia.

Qualified Candidates:

Must be a lawful permanent resident or legal member of the US
Must be a certified or board-eligible physician assistant
Provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with other physicians and dedicated patient care teams
Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop, and implement individualized care plans, and ability to educate patients
Excellent clinical and communication skills
Ability to obtain a VA medical license, and DEA license

Variety of orthopedic services, including an orthopedic urgent care clinic
Mixture of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, including intraoperative care as well as the evaluation and management of patients in outpatient clinic
