Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Licenced Physician Assistant in the state of Mississippi to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality DOT Physical assessments with a focus on Federal Regulations. As a Physician Assistant, you will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver occupational care, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
- Be proficient using computer programs, document physical findings according to DOT standards & regulations.
- Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations, including HIPAA standards.
- Be able to work independently.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of DOT guidelines & regulations.
- Ability to work effectively within a clinic envirnoment with public & other healthcare associates.
- The ability to perform blood draws
- Must be DOT specimen collector certified per DOT regulations or willing to get certified.
- Must be breath alcohol certified per DOT regulations or willing to get certified.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and healthcare teams effectively.
- Must BLS certified.
- All licensure must be up to date.
