Welcome to the exciting opportunity to join our team at CHRISTUS SETX Health System! As a Nurse Practitioner (NP), you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include coordinating care with the Medical Director, conducting patient education, and ensuring accurate documentation. You will also have the chance to participate in community events and marketing opportunities to promote our health system.
Responsibilities:
- Take medical histories and perform physical exams
- Order and interpret laboratory studies
- Provide treatment to patients with chronic diseases
- Coordinate patient management and individualize care plans
- Work closely with the Medical Director and other team members
Qualifications:
- Current Licensure through the Texas Board of Nursing OR Licensed Physician Assistant by the Texas State Medical Board
- Valid DEA license or ability to obtain one
- BLS certification obtained from the American Heart Association
