We are looking for a full-time Academic Primary Care Physician to join our core faculty team at the Quinnipiac University Rural Family Medicine Residency in Winsted, CT. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about shaping the education of future rural family medicine physicians while providing primary care to patients of all ages.
Responsibilities:
- Combination of clinical and faculty responsibilities
- Office-based, outpatient Primary Care
- Full-time schedule with weekdays only
- Mix of precepting, patient care, and administrative time
- Phone call duty averages only 2 weekends per year and 1 weeknight every 2 months
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree
- Board-certified in Family Medicine
- Eligible for Connecticut medical licensure
- Passion for teaching and mentoring residents
