Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting physicians in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions. This position requires a strong foundation in medical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to aid in patient care decisions.
Administer medications and assist with various medical procedures as needed.
Provide education to patients regarding their health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health record systems such as Epic.
Participate in infection control measures and ensure adherence to safety protocols within the medical office.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver effective infectious disease care and management.

Experience
The successful candidate should possess:

Strong knowledge of anatomy and internal medicine principles.
Familiarity with coding practices related to medical billing and documentation.
Experience in managing patients requiring dialysis or specialized care systems.
Proficiency in infection control practices within a clinical setting.
Previous experience working in a medical office environment is preferred but not required.
